Jonathan Mueke’s closed-door meeting with Kitui East Constituency grassroots leaders is now the talk of the town.
The highly talked about meeting took place in Zombe town, Kitui East where the gubernatorial candidate converged with leaders from Endau/Malalani, Voo/Kyamatu. Mutitu/Kaliku and Zombe/Mwitika wards.
Kitui daylight moles from Zombe confirmed that among other key issues of discussion, the ongoing voter registration, mismanagement, and neglect of the region’s young people and women topped the discussion.
The motivated aspirant emphasized the need to elect leaders with political goodwill, motivated by the need to change the lives of Kitui people and the region’s economy.
In order for things to change and for people’s lives to change, we must change the leadership at the County Government. Every individual has the power to decide the kind of life they want for themselves and their families. – Mueke was quoted
Like the rest of the local leaders who were present, the former Deputy Governor in Nairobi County insisted on the mobilization of voter registration pointing out the slow start of the process in the region where only 2% of the targeted figure has registered after 2 weeks.
These leaders from Endau/Malalani, Voo/Kyamatu, Mutitu/Kaliku, and Zombe/Mwitika wards will ensure they take control of their lives by mobilizing members of their communities to vote in leaders that care and are willing to work towards the betterment of all – Mueke Posted on his social media pages.
The same mole pointed out that Mueke might spend the rest of the weekend in Kitui East engaging political influencers across the constituency ahead of the planned vigorous political rallies scheduled in due time across the county.
