The much-talked-about interview was rendered impactless when Kitui Gubernatorial aspirant snubbed the interview earlier today.

The Interview was scheduled to take place on Monday from 6 am to 8 am featuring Eldas Member of parliaments Hon Adan Keynan, Maola Omore of Igembe North, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, and Kitui County Gubernatorial Aspirant and former Nairobi County Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke.
The anticipation was then building up when Sam Gituku who hosted the morning Daybreak show announced that Jonathan Mueke will not be attending. Although he did not say the reasons behind snubbing the show, Mueke took to his Twitter Account to explain the reasons.
I opted out of this debate for obvious reasons. Progressive debates are valuable and most effective when the playing field is level. Apologies to all those that were looking forward to seeing me on air… https://t.co/ovWAyKaHzW

Fans applauded the act terming it as a “wise decision” since the other panelists were all aligned to one political side leaving him exposed to their attacks all by himself.
- Edwin Sifuna – ODM Secretary-General
- Adan Keynan – PG Secretary, Jubilee Coalition and Member of Parliament Eldas Constituency
- Maoka Maore – Deputy Majority Whip of the National Assembly Jubilee Party
- Jonathan Mueke – UDA affiliated, Kitui Gubernatorial Aspirant
The interview was so one-sided that Jonathan Mueke saw no reason to be part of it since he was the only “opposition” panelist to be feature.
