Governor Charity Ngilu has urged Kitui residents to enroll in large numbers for their National identification Cards.

Speaking in Kitui-South Sub-County, Governor Ngilu reiterated the importance of the Identification Cards especially its role in registration for a voters card.

Further, she called upon the residents to be put their ward representatives to task in matters of Development in their respective areas.

Further, Governor Ngilu urged the residents to support the proposed constitutional amendments to facilitate more funds remittance to the counties.

Governor Ngilu was speaking during the launch of various projects under the Community Level Infrastructure Development Programme, CLIDP, and was accompanied by Athi Member of County Assembly, Kilonzo Mwikya alias Tangawizi, Chief Officer Water and Irrigation, Kioko Kiilu, CeCM Water, Irrigation and Livestock Development Emmanuel Kisangau and a host of other local leaders.
